Educators require accurate foundational knowledge and resources that build competency and confidence in Métis education. Together, we will explore and examine the narrative of historical and contemporary issues that have influenced who we are as a people. Learning about the strong, diverse Métis Nation will benefit all educational stakeholders. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of Métis history and identity, along with recommendations for classroom resources.
