A guided workshop through our FREE humanities resource, Voices Into Action.

Voices Into Action is an online bilingual resource chock-full of curriculum-based lesson plans already done for teachers in grades 9-12, outlining various human rights issues throughout Canadian history.

These lesson plans fall easily into Social Studies and Langauge Arts curriculums as well as Health, Religion and Psychology, are completely adaptable, include videos for the classroom as well as grading rubrics and critical learning strategies.

By teaching our past in ways that can't help but ignite our students, we help them to use their voices and find a better path for tomorrow, all while meeting your existing objectives and goals.

Subjects included in our resource:  Human Rights, The Indigenous Experience, The Roots of Slavery, Gender Issues, Genocide (including the Holocaust,,Residentail Schools, Rwandan Genocide, the Bosnian War, the Armenian Genocide, and the Holodomor), Islamophobia, Japanese Internment Camps, Chinese Head Tax, Antisemitism, Exploring Canadian Values, Immigration, Cyberbullying and more.
