Continuing to Build Number Sense in Middle School

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Number sense can be thought of as flexible thinking about numbers. As students move through middle school, they are continuing to build on what they know about numbers and applying that to new situations. Number sense develops through the exploration and visualization of numbers as well as thinking about the relationships between those numbers. This is done through active thinking about concepts. This session will provide you with a variety of ideas to implement in your classroom.
